Why Migrate from WordPress?
Faster pages, lower costs, and full control over your code — here is what changes when you leave WordPress behind.
Instant Scaling with Static Generation
Next.js static generation and edge delivery mean your site handles traffic spikes effortlessly — no PHP bottlenecks, no database slowdowns.
No More Plugin Bloat
Replace dozens of WordPress plugins with lightweight npm packages. Own your frontend with a clean, type-safe React codebase.
Near-Zero Hosting Costs
Pre-rendered static pages serve from a CDN for free or near-free on platforms like Vercel and Netlify. No more paying for PHP hosting, managed WordPress, or premium plugins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about migrating from WordPress.
No! We use the WordPress REST API which is publicly accessible for published content. You just enter your site URL and we fetch all public posts, pages, categories, tags, and authors automatically.
You can migrate posts, pages, categories, tags, authors, and featured images. The content is converted to clean MDX with frontmatter that includes all metadata like publish dates, excerpts, and SEO information.
Yes, completely free with no limits. We believe in open source. The tool runs entirely in your browser - we don't even have servers to store your data. Optional paid features may come in the future for advanced enterprise needs.
Currently we support MDX file export (perfect for Next.js, Astro, Remix), Payload CMS, and Strapi. Sanity.io support is coming soon. For MDX exports, you get a ZIP file with all your content ready to use.
Absolutely. We preserve slugs, publish dates, meta descriptions, and generate proper frontmatter. Your URL structure can remain identical if you set up your Next.js routing correctly.
Currently we preserve image URLs in your content. The images will still load from your WordPress site. Full media download and optimization features are on our roadmap.
Yes! Both WordPress.com hosted sites and self-hosted WordPress.org sites are supported, as long as the REST API is enabled (it is by default on most sites).
The free version only migrates public/published content since it uses the public API. For migrating drafts and private content, you would need to use WordPress application passwords for authentication.
